The Will is Willing but the Way Elusive

The Skype marketing sessions continue, and they've been fantastic. Susannah and I keep each other motivated to slog it out with our current scripts, to keep generating marketable concepts, to make those phone calls and reach out to the people in our network, and to somehow find the funds to make a trip to Los Angeles in June. Our latest insane idea is to try to organize a script reading in Los Angeles to showcase our work. It's a great idea, though logistically complex considering I'm in Paris and she's in Australia. But when there's a will--and where there are friends and good angels--there's a way. Right?

I recommend everyone buddy up with someone who's focused, positive, and proactive. The key is in finding the right partner, but once you do, I'm convinced it really can make a difference in your career.
