Casting Call

Any actors, cameramen, or sound engineers out there interested in participating in some screenplay readings? Théâtre du Monde, run by Fawn Wilderson-Legros, is launching its Film Script Showcase series. Combining traditional readings, performance, and projection, the staging of three original screenplays will take place in June. This time the scripts will be in English. I'll be helping Fawn organize the events.

We're looking for:

  • Native English-speaking actors/actresses, all ages/types.
  • Technical volunteers to help with filming, projections, sound, and lighting.
  • Fun, enthusiastic people to help us make this an ongoing venture.

 We're offering

  • A chance to perform for a live audience.
  • A professional production you'd be proud to invite industry pros to see.
  • Exposure through publicity and on Théâtre du Monde's web page.
  • A DVD of the performance (small fee to cover DVD production may apply).
  • An opportunity to give feedback to the screenwriters who will fly from Australia and the US for their showcases.
The casting is this Sunday April 22nd. Performance dates are June 1, June 15, and June 29. Location: Paris, France. If you're interested, drop me an email!
